About Texas CARES
Texas CARES is one of the oldest charities of our type in the area celebrating 30 years this June, 2023 . Our mission is to rescue cats and kittens from local shelters as well as help those in need who have to surrender their cats. Texas CARES is a foster-based rescue and host adoption events every weekend at a PetSmart in Prosper, Texas. Our all-volunteer team is dedicated to helping kitties find wonderful forever homes. Proceeds go towards paying for medical expenses as we ensure all cats and kittens are tested, vaccinated and spay/neutered prior to adoption.
