About Angel Eyes NI

Angel Eyes NI
Angel Eyes NI has been supporting children with a visual impairment across Northern Ireland since 2007. Started by a mum whose twins were born with a lifelong eye condition, it has grown over the years to meet the needs of its community and ensure their voice is heard.
Very often the diagnosis of their child having an eye condition will be the first time a family will have any experience of a visual impairment and may lack the knowledge, confidence, and skills they need to make informed decisions regarding their child’s ongoing health and educational support.
Angel Eyes NI demystifies visual impairment, providing families with practical and emotional support, signposting and information gathering ensuring families have the information they need, when they need it. The biggest identified concern for parents and families is access to education. We deliver an Education Advocacy service to ensure families and children have equal access to education and resources.
Angel Eyes NI works in partnership with key stakeholders including education, health and third sector organisations to ensure that families and their children can access all the services and support they need to achieve their dreams, aspirations, and potential through a holistic, collaborative approach.
Our families and children are at the heart of everything we do. We participate in and encourage innovative ongoing engagement to develop solutions and services to give children with a visual impairment equal opportunity in all aspects of life.
We are passionate about delivering on our mission: To create a society which is fully inclusive of children and young people with visual impairment, in which they will be able to achieve their dreams, aspirations and potential, where they are valued and appreciated.
We do not receive statutory funding and rely on fundraising to provide our much-needed services to our families.

Raising £10 a month gives a visually impaired child an opportunity to attend an accessible club.
Raining £30 a month will provide an initial assessment to every new family.

Thank you for supporting us by choosing Angel Eyes NI for your special cards throughout the year.
