About Schoolreaders

We want all children to leave primary school able to read well. At present one in four children starts secondary school with sub-standard literacy and this affects their achievements in education and in later life. For around £15 we can give a child a free reading support session with one of our volunteers every week of the school year; please support us and give more children the gift of good literacy.
