About UK Antarctic Heritage Trust
The UK Antarctic Heritage Trust is dedicated to connecting everyone with the wonder of Antarctica and its heritage, to help promote a greater understanding of this phenomenal place and the role we have in protecting it.
We care for six designated historic sites in Antarctica. They are modest wooden huts, but signify the birthplace of UK science and climate discovery. Their remarkable stories help us to demonstrate why Antarctica matters to us all, from the heroic tales of discovery and survival to the protection of the natural world.
