About ROLDA USA (Romanian League in Defense of Animals)
ROLDA USA has been helping homeless and absurd Romanian homeless animals since 2006. We provide support to 2 private shelters, where 700 dogs who were rescued from streets start a new life and from where they are rehomed. ROLDA pays for sterilization campaigns in rural areas, especially for pets from poor communities. We aim to build a state-of-art multi-purpose animal center for education, veterinary care, sheltering-rehoming and therapy with animals for senior citizens . We also hope to be able to extend our support to volunteers from other regions of Romania e.g. Tulcea and Republic Moldova. ROLDA USA is dependent on our generous and compassionate donors; we receive no government funding.
