Port Stephens Koala Hospital provides best-practice standards of care to rescue, treat and rehabilitate sick or injured koalas with the aim of returning them to live and thrive in their natural habitat. Since just 2018, koala numbers are estimated to have declined by an alarming 30% and are now officially listed as endangered in NSW & QLD.
Our dedicated veterinary staff, volunteer board and team of carers are committed to our mission to save and protect the koalas of Port Stephens. Your support will help with the high costs of treating, feeding and housing koalas when in care and thus help us to ensure their future.
