Aching Arms Aching Arms is a baby loss charity run by bereaved parents who have experienced the pain of losing a baby. Our charity aim is to bring comfort and support to bereaved families following pregnancy and baby loss.
We provide Aching Arms teddy bears to hospitals and organisations to give to bereaved parents, and we also post our bears direct to parents on request. Each bear wears a tag with the name of the baby in whose memory it has been dedicated. By giving the gift of a bear our hope is that bereaved parents will know they are not alone and they may find comfort for their aching arms in holding the bear.
Our support service 'Supporting Arms' is run by bereaved parents, and can offer telephone or email support to anyone who has been affected by the loss of a baby in pregnancy, at birth or shortly after, and it has no time limit, it is available whether the loss was last week or many years ago.
