About Bees Abroad

Bees Abroad provides opportunities for people in low-income communities around the world to learn practical beekeeping skills to generate income and improve lives. Our projects typically increase family income by 20% and research suggests that the improved crop pollination that the bees provide, can increase local yields by another 20%.

We are an organisation of volunteers who are experienced beekeepers who teach beekeeping and mentor local beekeeping trainers, enabling people to make hives, bee-suits and equipment from locally-available resources.
