About Faith in Families Children's Charity
Faith in Families has a long history, beginning in Nottingham in 1948, known as the Catholic’s Children Society. Our belief in the importance of family life is as strong today as it was when we first began. Over the last 70 years we have found new loving homes for more than 3,000 children. These are children who, for various reasons, are unable to continue living with their birth families.
As the community has changed, so has the way the charity responds. We now offer a wide range of services for children and families across the region. We are known for our innovative thinking and our inclusivity, and have an outstanding reputation in our sector.
Faith in Families is a registered charity and independent adoption agency, known as Adopt Together. We have a small, highly professional and experienced team of adoption specialists who are dedicated in ensuring that your adoption journey is as smooth as possible. There isn’t much we don’t know about adoption and everything that comes with it, so you’ll be in safe hands.
We are based in Nottingham but work throughout the East Midlands to help children find new homes. Our strong partnerships with Local Authorities means that we have more opportunities to match you with the children waiting to find their forever family. We also offer adoption support services, volunteering opportunities and training and consultancy programmes.
