About Fleecehaven
Fleecehaven Sheep Sanctuary is a family-run charity located in the North Devon countryside. It is currently home to over 120 rescued sheep. Each of Fleecehaven's sheep is known by name and is guaranteed a lifetime of loving care and attention. The aim of Fleecehaven is to promote humane behaviour towards sheep by providing appropriate care, protection, treatment and security to those sheep which are in need of care and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment or poor circumstances. Fleecehaven also educates the public in matters pertaining to the welfare of sheep and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among sheep.
Fleecehaven relies entirely upon donations and monies received through fundraising activities. All money donated goes directly to the care of the animals; no salaries are paid and all administration costs are gifted to the charity.
