About Healing Paws Animal Reacue
Healing Paws Animal Rescue is small exclusive organisation helping the stray animals in Zakynthos, Greece. It is run by Sue Deeth who lives and works on the Island.
Sue spends every moment of her spare time rescuing these poor animals from a terrible fate and welcomes them into the comfort of her home. Sadly there is no funding from any government sources in Zakynthos, and most cats and dogs lead a very short and miserable existence.
Puppies and kittens are often found discarded in the rubbish simply abandoned, and many dogs suffer abuse by being chained and, in some cases, starved. Sue and her volunteers nurse the animals back to health and pay for all their veterinary needs, their general upkeep and then finds them a home where they can enjoy the love and companionship that they deserve.
Healing Paws is a registered non profit organisation in Greece and a Registered UK charity in England and Wales.
