About RSPCA Solent Branch, The Stubbington Ark
RSPCA Solent Branch is one of the largest animal rehoming charities in the UK, covering an estimated 400 square miles of Hampshire. The Animal Centre based in Stubbington is locally called The Stubbington Ark. During a year we will take in over 6000 animals.
Many of these animals are unwanted, others given up due to unforeseen circumstances and some brought in from RSPCA Inspectors.
Our facilities include a puppy block, play areas, kennels for rehoming, commercial boarding, isolation. There is an intake and adoption cattery, a small animal and wildlife area as well and plenty of land for stock animals.
We rescue all animals without discriminating based on species, breed, age or temperament and give them the best care and opportunity to be rehomed.
It costs over £2500 a day to run the centre, the RSPCA does not fund the Branch. We rely on the generosity of public donations. Helping support the centre are our charity shops in Fareham, Fratton, Gosport, and Petersfield.
