About Tuppenny Barn Education
Tuppenny Barn is a food focused environmental charity which offers children of all ages across the South East the chance to experience first hand growing, picking and cooking fresh produce. Forging a positive relationship with health eating habits. They also learn about the importance of sustainability and valuing the natural world through organic growing practice and observation of the various natural habitats on the site including a pond and insect hotel as well as bee hives.
Tuppenny Barn ,supports children from areas of high deprivation, those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and those with disabilities, as well as working with adults with a range of physical and mental impairments through Social Therapeutic Horticulture
